What is a Maternity Session, and Why is it Important?

What is a Maternity Session?

• Timing: A Maternity session focuses on the beauty of your pregnant body and is typically scheduled between 32 and 38 weeks. During this time frame, your baby bump is developed enough to be beautifully round, but not so close to delivery that you'll be uncomfortable standing or posing.
• Include Partners and Siblings: Maternity sessions can also involve your partner and any children you already have. This allows the whole family to participate in the excitement and creates a visual story that includes everyone. It's a beautiful way for you and your family to bond as you prepare to welcome this baby into your lives.

Collection Upgrades

+$250.00 +tax

10 extra images, 1 bespoke print box with professional 5x7 prints. Our print boxes are made with wood and come in a variety of colors. Each box can also be engraved to add an extra element of personalization to your collection.

+$500 +tax

20 extra images, 1 professionally designed album with 20 high quality pages. An album is a wonderful way to showcase a large number of images, and is the perfect way to memorialize this special time.

Maternity + Newborn Special

If you choose to book both a Maternity and a Newborn session, you will receive a bonus 10 images to use between your two sessions however you choose.

Maternity Sessions are held at my home studio where I have everything we need for a successful newborn session. I have a lovely selection of dresses and backdrops to help us capture images that fit your personal style. I have extensive training in studio photography, as well as specialized training in posing and lighting.
